Michael Cooper - Four and a half stars
"Offering fine value. the deeply coloured 2015 vintage was grown on two sites in the Waihopai Valley and matured for ten months in French oak barriques (25% new). Mouthfilling, it is youthful and fruit-packed, with ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing excellent concentration, texture and complexity. Best drinking mid 2018+"- Michael Cooper.
New to Winesale.co.nz, Lawsons Dry Hills is a Marlborough icon. We are happy to recommend these wines 100%
Produced from our own Waihopai Valley vineyard and the adjacent Barnsley vineyard, these two sites grow beautiful parcels of fruit that produce expressive wines with depth and finesse. This Pinot Noir is richly aromatic, showing ripe red berry and cherry characters, complemented by sweet, spicy oak notes. The palate is opulent with soft ripe tannins and great concentration that together produce a powerful, elegant wine.
