Mas Olivier (France) 2017 Lantana Rosé 750ml

The winemakers of Southern France do exquisite Rose and when we tried this we were determined to get it! Chosen from hundreds of wines at the Vinisud wine show in January 2017, this is the first time available in New Zealand and if we have anything to do with it will be around for a long time.
A beautiful rose petal colour. The nose is elegant and expressive with floral notes first (orange blossom, peaches), then spicy marks (ginger, white pepper). This is an invitation to spring time... On the palate, this rosé wine is delicate.

Main Divide (Waipara) Rosé 2018

"Bright, very pale peach-pink colour with some depth, lighter on the rim. The nose is fresh and elegant in expression with aromas of strawberries and red florals, with a suggestion of fresh herbs, along with a very subtle amalgam of confectionary and minerals. This is clean and thirst-quenching. The fruit forms a fine-textured line and flows with good vitality to a crisp, refreshing, delicately nuanced finish. This is a refreshing and thirst-quenching dry rosé with delicate strawberry, floral and mineral flavours. Soho Black Collection (Waiheke Island) 2017 Westwood Rosé

Gold Medal - Easter Show Wine Awards 2015
Gold Medal - Air New Zealand Wine Awards 2014
Silver Medal - NZ International Wine Show 2014
4 Stars - "Moderately deep, purple-hued ruby-pink colour. This has an up-front, brash nose with mouthwatering aromas of raspberries and cream, along with a steely, minerally freshness and hint of raspberry confectionary. Off-dry to taste and medium-bodied, full, bright and juicy, thirst-quenching flavours of raspberries and cream show with succulence and sweetness. Grainy, dry tannins form a textured core, balancing the richness, and providing plenty of mouthfeel and grip. The acidity is unobtrusive, and lends good energy to the palate as it flows to a drying, but flavoursome, fruity finish. This is a bright, brash, off-dry rose with raspberry fruit flavours and a grainy texture. Serve with antipasto, charcuterie and tapas over the next 18 months to 2 years." - Sam Kim
Beneath scarlet night, with bright teared tinge, that summer scramble for sun-kissed ripe fruits, refreshened by a seductive crisp finish. A plush melange of lifted summer berry compote, maraschino & a piquant touch of cranberry. Enticing, vivacious - a patent cherry-red ten-up strut!
