Ant Moore (Marlborough) Rosé 2018

Hoorah! we bagged some more of this little stunner.

90 Points - Wine Enthusiast
"Racing away as this producer's strongest wine, this peach-hued drop comes with a delicate, attractive nose of cherries, peaches, strawberry leaf and blossoms. The palate is dry with crunchy fruit and a herbal leafy undertone. The finish is long and tangy. It is a softly spoken food-friendly wine that would be great with a wide array of summer dishes." Wine Enthusiast

Ant Moore wines are truly artisanal, small batch ferments, hand made and beautifuly balanced.

This Rosé is beautifully elegant and fruity. Theres a complex and enticing blend of aromatic sweet fruit with notes of strawberry, citrus and rock-melon on the nose. Lovely brightness of fruit with great drive and vibrancy, medium weight on a palate bursting with energy.

Stunning. Snap it up before its gone..

Jancis Robinson Review May 2019
"A thoroughly reliable pink for summer – or anytime...
Among the 9 rosés I sampled... t
he 2018 vintage of MIP* Made in Provence Classic was by far the best option for its quality at the price. Made from 60% Cinsault, 20% Syrah and 20% Grenache, it epitomises the style: pale coral in colour, with pure redcurrant and strawberry fruit flavours, smooth texture, moderate acidity and satisfying persistence. There is nothing unusual about how it is made, nor any notable marketing angle – instead, it is a rock-solid example of a rightfully popular style. As a category, Provence rosé may not be the best bargain around, but MIP* Made in Provence Classic is one of the best and most reliable of them." Jancis Robinson

J. de Villaret Cremant de Loire Rose

4.5 Stars 91 Points Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"Charming and immensely appealing, the bouquet shows sweet strawberry, nectarine and floral characters with a touch of yeasty complexity. It is bright, succulent and elegant on the palate, displaying plush texture backed by creamy mouthfeel and bright acidity."

Pale salmon-pink colour.  The nose is soft and clean with gently filling and delicate aromas of yellow stonefruits and red berries, revealing herbal elements. Dryish to taste, light red fruits, currants and herbal flavours are supported by soft, creamy textures. The flavours fade, and lead to a light finish.  This is a clean, fresh and gentle cremant rose.

We have imported the Villaret wines for nearly 10 years here at Winesale and they are fast becoming some our our favourites, well made, approachable and excellent value.

91/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, August 2019 (2019 Vintage)

90/100 Cameron Douglas MS, August 2019 (2019 Vintage)

Only the second release of the Rose from Main Divide, made in the slightly out of the box style that the Donaldson family like to do things. Still great value.

Carefully selected grapes from an assemblage of complementary varieties including Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc were harvested to make this wine. The free run juice was given a small amount of skin contact to add some colour. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel vats at a cool temperature to retain varietal purity and freshness, with the wine being bottled shortly after. The Wine It is salmon pink, with fragrant aromas of strawberries, red currents & cranberry. On the palate it is dry and fi nely textured, with fresh and vibrant minerality. The influence of the Pinot Noir ensures the wine remains fl eshy and supple, while the two Cabernets contribute aroma and structure
