4 Stars - Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews (2021 vintgae)
"Deep ruby-red with a purple core, lighter on edge. The nose is gently full, sweet aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and plum melded with floral, toasty oak and sweet spice. Medium-full bodied, aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and plum show balanced ripeness, enveloping vanilla, clove and toasty oak nuances. The fruit shows purity, adorned by a touch of toasty oak and fine-grained tannin framework. Acidity is balanced and lively, providing a lovely line and vibrancy. This amiable Cabernet Sauvignon possesses bright fruit, toasty oak, spice, and a pleasing mouthfeel. Match with steak and meat pie over the next 3-4 years."

New vintage of this delightful Cabernet. This was the highlight of the range previously.

Made by Luis Felipe Edwards these wines offer great value drinking. Alto Los Romeros refers to the wild Rosemary that grows all over the estate.
The history of Viña Luis Felipe Edwards (LFE) dates back to 1976, when Luis Felipe Edwards Sr. purchased the Fundo San José de Puquillay estate, located in the Colchagua Valley, a premier viticultural region in Chile. The estate sits nestled in a secluded horseshoe-shaped valley, separated from the majestic snow-capped Andes by the smaller San Fernando ridge. Viña Luis Felipe Edwards has since grown to be the largest 100% family-owned wine company in Chile.

3 Months French/American Oak

Intense and lively ruby red color. On the nose are rich fruity aromas of plum and cherries, accompanied by toasted notes and coffee from French and American oak aging. On the palate it is concentrated, with soft and elegant tannins and a pleasing final persistence.

Cabernet Sauvignon was the first varietal that Luis Felipe Edwards produced from their site in Chile's Central Valley.  A deliciously ripe Cabernet, bursting with black fruit flavour. Try this with Grilled lamb cutlets.

Alto Los Romeros (Chile) 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon
The Alto Cabernet Sauvignon had a great depth of red rich flavor, easy to drink with a nice medium steak. Definitely recommend this wine to try, I will certainly be buying more of it myself.

Exceptional every day wine. Had guests over snd they were also impressed. Shame you have sold out but can understand why. Fab with slow cooked beef cheeks.

Very good indeed for the price. Classic big Chilean great value red, ideal for when you want an unchallenging wine. I drink this with pizzas, pastas, steaks, roasts, the lot, but smooth enough to have it on its own.
