5 Stars, 93 Points - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Beautifully ripe and fragrant, the bouquet shows sweet apricot, rockmelon, orange peel and subtle spice aromas, followed by a wonderfully weighted palate that's plump and silky. Varietally expressive, it's soothing and delectable with a lengthy tasty finish. At its best: now to 2027. Sam Kim

The fruit was harvested early in the morning whilst the grapes are still cool to lock in those perfumed aromas. The grapes were then de-stemmed and left sitting on the skins for several hours before pressing. Followed by a slow cold ferment, we managed to keep all the intense floral flavours.

Anchorage Estate Viognier captivates with its vibrant white peach aromas that leap enticingly from the glass, inviting you to explore its depth. On the palate, concentrated stone fruit flavors unfold alongside delicate floral notes, creating a harmonious and layered tasting experience. The wine’s rich texture is balanced by a refreshing acidity, leading to a wonderfully succulent finish that lingers gracefully. This Viognier showcases the careful craftsmanship and unique terroir of Anchorage Estate, making it an exceptional choice for those seeking a refined and expressive white wine.
