"Beautifully elegant and refined, showing red apple, nectarine, strawberry and subtle spice notes, it's finely textured and flowing to a lengthy crisp finish. Poised and delicate, offering fabulous drinking. At its best: now to 2023."

"While Provence might have the fame for rosé in France, plenty of wine regions around the country have a shot with a range of delicious results. This version is from the Aude region, from the country’s south and almost on the Spanish border. It’s a dependable and well-priced label for French rosé fans. Subtle and delicate in style, and oh so French, it is a pretty pale salmon pink in colour. The aromas are multilayered with charcuterie, spice and dried herbs over fresh cranberry. The palate is all about finesse – its silky texture and light weight blended with earthy, red berry fruits. Crisp and dry, this screams out for drinking chilled by the pool, or as an aperitif."

100% Syrah sourced from vineyards of the Aude Valley planted in the foothills of the Pyrenees, alongside the river that flows down to join the Canal du Midi at Carcassonne. The 25 year old, low-yielding vineyards benefit from high elevation and cool evenings to create elegant and varietally expressive wines.

Charismatic and blushing pale pink, it appears well within the classic Provence “pale and dry” spectrum. The nose is gloriously aromatic and sweetly perfumed with aromas of strawberries and rose petals. The palate is a seamless revelation, elegant and effortless with light berry and fruit drop flavours lingering long on a soft, dry finish.
