"Deep, ruby-red with a purple hue, slightly lighter on the rim. The nose is full, packed with blackberries, dark plums melded with a marked herbaceousness, mint, lavender and black pepper. Medium-full bodied, blackberries, plums have a ripe core, enriched cocoa, vanilla followed by black pepper, mint and lavender. The fruit has concentration and balanced ripeness, showing youth and herb details. Ripe tannin coated the palate with cocoa powder, leaving a drying finish. This is a plush Syrah with attractive fruit, herbaceous and spice layers. Match with barbeque lamb and beef over the next 3-4 years. Fruit predominantly from Bridge Pa Triangle and Gimblett Gravels, fermented to 13% alc, aged with French oak for 10 months."

Varietal and vibrant with a bouquet of dark cherry and black currant, dark red apple and violet floral moments. Youthful and enticing. On the palate - flavours match the nose with black currant first then plum and raspberry finishing with cherry and baking spices. Plenty of acidity and fine tannins add texture and mouthfeel. Great drinking from 2022 through 2026.

Black Cottage have done it again! Grab a super deal on this great value Syrah. Selected fruit from the Bridge Pa and Gimblett Gravel regions. The wine was matured with French oak for 10 months. Bursting with blue fruits, plum, violets, and spice. There’s a lovely earthiness on the palate with notes of raspberry, florals and just a touch of black pepper coming through. Plush tannins
