Gold Medal - Royal Easter Show Wine Awards 2021

90 Points & Recommended - Cameron Douglas
Plush, ripe and fruity bouquet with aromas of fresh red melon, cherry and red apple skin. On the palate - fleshy, juicy, fruity and just dry. Flavours of lite red berry fruits, red apple and cherry fill the palate. Medium+ acidity adds crispness and fresh appeal. Balanced and well made - drink upon purchase and through 2022.

Borough wines are made as a project between some of Marlboroughs big name growers, Wineworks Marlborough and other industry sponsors. Produced in support of the Graeme Dingle Foundation and thier fantastic youth programmes, such as the Kiwi Can Programme.

Pinot Noir grapes for this Rosé came from a small and strategically selected vineyard site in Marlborough’s Southern Valley. The grapes were harvested in optimal conditions during March, after an ideal growing season that was characterised by warm temperatures and minimum rain.

Winemakers note
“An aromatic wine, with succulent raspberry and strawberry notes. On palate this wine is creamy, with the crisp freshness of berries developing to a textured, long and seductive finish.”

Great wine and a Great cause, Great buying surely!!
