CANCELED EXPORT MEGA BARGAIN

92 Points - Cameron Douglas MS
"Vibrant, fresh, youthful and engaging bouquet with aromas of dark cherries and baking spices, some wood smoke, black tea and mineral. On the palate - firm textures, a core of fruit then oak, firm tannins, medium+ acidity and dry on the finish. Flavours of dark berries and red stone fruits, tea and stony mineral moments. Balanced and well made, youthful, engaging and lengthy. Best drinking from today and through 2024."

This stunning single vineyard, Bannockburn Pinot Noir was all set to go to Aus. The order fell through.

Great buying. With an RRP of $55 at the winery you are getting an amazing deal.

Fruit is sourced from a single vineyard in the bannockburn sub region of Otago. Winemaker Brendan Seal at the helm has an accredited history working at Chard Farm, Mt Difficulty and Mt Edward since his first vintage in the region in 1999. Overseas experience includes many vintages producing Pinot Noir in Oregon and California and aromatic white wines in Alsace. He has held head winemaking roles in Cyprus and the United Kingdom.

A gutsy style of Otago Pinot. Textured tannins feel with flavours of black cherry and black raspberry. Balanced acidity, a waft of charcoal and a lengthy finish. Delicious!
