"Classic rather tannic style but fine ripeness this year, attractive dark fruit, ripe black currant and plum notes with modest oak, good length, an age worthy stye that should age and soften for a few years."

Direct import from France

AOC Moulis-en-Médoc, Château Mauvesin-Barton, dating from at least the 15th century, was bought in 2011 by Madame Lilian Barton-Sartorius, owner of Château Léoville-Barton and Langoa-Barton, second and third classified growths Saint Julian. Since then, significant investments have been made to improve the quality of the wines.
Merlot (46%), Cabernet Sauvignon (36%), Cabernet Franc (16%) and Petit Verdot (2%).

Presents a ruby color dominated by notes of black fruits and liquorice. Its fine and elegant material allows it to achieve attractive gastronomic pairings and to be appreciated both in its youth and after a few years of cellaring. Drink 2023-33
