96 POINTS - Huon Hooke, The Real Review (2018 Vintage)
"Deep, dark red/purple colour with a gun-flinty, machine-oil overtone to the bouquet. There are black fruit aromas beneath. The palate is very complex and layered, with smoky, briary, black olive and graphite nuances that follow throughout the palate. The tannins are firm and compact and beautifully balanced to add structure and contribute to length. A ripping wine. Drinking Well: 2020–2035"

Only 240 of these Magnums are produced, Winesale was lucky enough to snaffle some of these big boys!

Part of Chateau Tanundas Terroirs of the Barossa series. The Barossa has some of the oldest and diverse soil types in the world. A journey through the Terroirs is a lesson in the Barossa’s versatility Featuring the separate sub regions of the Barossa district. This is an elegant and structured wine from the sandy soils of the northern Barossa and typical of the district of Ebenezer.

To ensure the unique character of this subregion is exemplified in the wine, small open fermenters and a basket press were employed to gently extract the wine. Aging in the finest quality oak and selection of the truest barrels has created a wine that respects and expresses its place of origin.
