How about something different?! Picpol de Pinet is taking the UK by storm and is fast becoming a great pick for summer drinking.

Classic Picpoul in name and style!  This comes from a site with red, calcareous, gravelly soil.  Pale lemon/green in colour, there is a mouthwatering lemon/yeasty nose, while on the palate there is good concentration of racy ripe fruit with steely acidity and a lingering saline finish.  Just add Moules Marinières!

Domaine des Lauriers is situated just outside Pezenas in the Languedoc region of France. This estate was established in 1969 and it has taken time to selectively build up the 45 hectares they have today. The climate in this area is perfect; the cool breeze from the Mediterranean ensures the wines have the desired freshness. The soil varies throughout the vineyard; the calcareous sandy clay produces fresh and floral  Picpoul  and the cooler and moister marl brings out the best in their Syrah and Viongier.

Year after year they receive recognition for their efforts in the prestigious Guide Hachette.  They also frequently win Gold or Silver Medals at the Paris Wine Fair.

You need Picpoul De Pinet in your life. Especially if you eat seafood.
