92 Points & 4 Stars James Haliday
94 Points & 5 Stars - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
"A sumptuous offering with blackberry, mixed berry compote, toasty oak and warm spice characters on the nose, it’s opulent on the palate delivering succulent fruit intensity with excellent density, superbly framed by layers of silky texture and fine tannins. At its best: now to 2035" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, May 2022

4.5 Stars - The Wine Writer
"The touch of eucalyptus on the nose is a dead give away that this is an Australian Shiraz, it is hidden under the ripe berry and red fruit aromas and soft spice notes. A lively wine with a juicy and moreish mid palate, fine grainy tannins and pepper on the lingering finish"

Beautiful dark garnet colour. Black cherry, blueberry and mixed spice. Hints of pepper and soft oak spice are beautifully integrated with blackberry fruits and medium bodied silky tannins.
Winery description
"This wine is a labour of love - one the accountants didn’t know about. In 2014, winemaker Jo Nash discovered an exeptional parcel of Shiraz infact a 30-year-old single vineyard. Grampians, Victoria. This was gently crushed then stored away in some ridiculously expensive French Oak barrels to age for 12 months. The wine speaks for itself - minimal intervention, purity of fruit, Shiraz at its best. Made by a winemaker, not an accountant. Enjoy with abandon. Just....Don’t tell Gary." Drink now or cellar to 2030
