Silver Medal - Decanter
95 Points/5 Stars - Wine Orbit, Sam Kim
5 Stars - Michael Cooper

"Estate-grown and matured in French oak casks. Full-coloured, it is fragrant, mouthfilling and sweet-fruited, with generous, ripe cherry, plum, spice and nut flavours, good tannin support, and a savoury, finely structured finish. A very ageworthy wine, it’s well worth cellaring to mid-2021+."

This is such a good PINOT BUY....

Bottled for us by a top Martinbourough producer. This comes from a top site that has gone into Martinboughs big name Pinots in the past but is too good for that now. The Vines on this site are low yeilding of high quality fruit and are up to 30 odd years old. This is classy stuff, low vigour, low cropping vineyard.  Hand picked, crushed into 2 tonne open fermenters, hand plunged and with gentle use of new oak.

Enticing aromas of dark cherry, plum, vanilla and mixed spices. The palate is wonderfully weighted, supple and delicious.
