91/100 - Jasper Morris, Inside Burgandy

"Glenlee is a Pinot Noir that comes from a vineyard of one man’s dreams. Californian visionary Gary Andrus has passed on, but his belief in close planting Burgundian principles results in a vineyard legacy: low crops of intense fruit – and sore knees for anyone who works there! The wine is a thrilling expression of site and method." Christopher Keys, Winemaker

Dark crimson-red, the wine has a beautifully expressive nose, infused with red fruits, briar and florals. Svelte and superbly light-footed, it weaves an enticing and engaging path. Sturdy, spicy and slighty smoky flavours frame a very lush, long finish and quenching minerality.
