Always a big medal winner infact a whopping 25 gold medals and 14 trophies over the last three vintages.

This is the latest release of this special wine.

"Sauvignon Blanc fruit for this wine from our Alma St Vineyard in the Wairau Valley, Marlborough. The vineyard is netted to protect it, which allows the grapes to hang on the vine for longer. Eventually the fruit shrivels which gives the concentrated sugars late harvest wines are known for. This is when the fruit is ready for hand picking, normally late May.

Grape-stomping is part of the method of maceration used in traditional winemaking. Rather than using a wine press, grapes are crushed by having barefoot participants repeatedly stomp on them in vats to release their juices and begin fermentation. Our cellar team love making this wine - it's a fun day stomping on the grapes!"

Aromas of passionfruit, guava and honeysuckle with a luscious, concentrated palate exuding vibrant tropical fruit flavours.  A must-try wine.
