90 Points - Parker
"From vines below the Brochon lycée comes the 2018 Côte de Nuits-Villages, another pretty wine from Boillot that bursts with aromas of cherries, cassis and rich soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, succulent and supple, its juicy core of fruit is framed by fine, powdery tannins."

"wines that Louis makes from his priceless vines are like Burgundy used to be: gentle, subtle, pure, precise and highly nuanced, their complexity and sensuality growing with age."

The Côte de Nuits-Villages from Louis is a lovely Burgundy with pronounced aromas of raspberry with vanilla and oak hints. Juicy red berries, sweet cherries lifted by a streak of acidity and finely grained tannins linger on the palate. This wine would be ideal with roast wild duck or pork loin in a creamy, mushroom sauce.
