96 Points - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
"Impeccably composed and supremely elegant, this stunning methode traditionnelle shows white flesh peach, lemon peel, acacia and yeasty characters on the nose. The palate exhibits outstanding concentration and focus, together with refined mouthfeel and bright acidity, leading to a persistent poised finish. Intricate and exquisitely detailed."

95 Points -  Cameron Douglas MS
"Complex, youthful and layered bouquet with aromas of citrus and fresh brioche bun, white peach and wild flowers, strawberry and spice. Youthful, crisp, tense and dry. A fine yet abundant mousse and lively acidity enhance the flavours of citrus,  strawberry and apple. A lovely long finish. Even better on the second day."

Commercial description

"Cuvée Virginie is a vintage Méthode Traditionelle crafted especially by Daniel as a proud tribute to his daughter Virginie. The wine is only made in exceptional vintages.

From the growing period through to harvest 2016 all of the elements were in balance and the grapes ripened to perfection. They were hand-picked in pristine condition showing excellent fruit intensity and pretty aromatics from the Mendoza clone Chardonnay. The resulting Cuvée Virginie 2016 is a wine with elegance and finesse.

A pretty bouquet with light stone fruit, honey and defined toasty autolysis. The fine mousse leads to flavours of brioche, white peach, soft citrus and green apple. Uplifted and vibrant with delicate autolysis followed by a silky, long dry finish. This is a wine with elegance and finesse."
