Fragrant with apple and citrus blossom, ripe golden peach, lemon curd and melon. Sweet and silky entry with ripe mandarin, lime, melon, passionfruit and a touch of pink grapefruit. Beautifully balanced with generous fruit sweetness and bright acidity. Complex and long with a juicy, sweet stone fruit finish.

The fruit is 100% hand harvested Riesling from the Waitaki. Harvest took place on April 26th 2020. The fruit was whole bunch pressed to a stainless steel tank for cold settling for two days. The juice was then racked and the juice inoculated with selected wine yeast. The cool fermentation was stopped to retain a Spätlese style. Alcohol 8.65%, residual sugar 42 g/L.
