86 Points - Wine Enthusiast (2017 vintage)
"Tight-grained oak surrounds muted stone fruit and apple in this round, rich and approachable wine that is fairly priced and wide in appeal. Virginie Boone"

Stunning, classic Napa Valley Chardonnay.

Comforting notes of baked apple pie with toasted oak notes of caramel and spice. Opens up to reveal mineral and fruity aromas including ripe Asian pear, dried apricot and white peach. A full-bodied wine with bright acidity, suffusing oak flavors show as vanilla and sweet-oak through to the palate. Finishes with a hint of lemon meringue pie.

Rutherford Ranch Wines are on the Silverado Trail within Napa Valley. Family owned and operated now in the 3rd generation, the Zaninovich family are focussed on producuing sustainable, affordable and uncompromised styles of Californian wine.

The 2018 Chardonnay was fermented in a combination of temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and French and American oak barrels.

This is a deliciously versatile wine. Enjoy as an aperitif or pair with chicken and grilled fish entrees, creamy vegetable soups or a selection of your favorite cheeses.
