Hand selected bunches are picked from superior quality vineyards within the Bodegas Santa Ana estate in Cuyo, Mendoza. Vines are planted on deep and stony soil.

After de-stemming, the bunches are crushed and the juice is fermented with extended skin contact, beginning in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and finishing in French barrique, a proportion of which are new. The wine is bottled after filtration and cold stabilisation.

A great partner to red meat dishes. Try it with a slow braised lamb shank with parsnip puree for example.

Winery note
"Santa Ana Reserve Malbec, aged in French and American oak for six months, displays a purple colour in the glass. The nose offers up pain grillé, minerals, plums and black cherries notes with a touch of black pepper. The palate is soft and round, with ripe, saturated berry flavours. It displays a spicy full finish with chewy tannins."
