Super cool wine making duo Jason and Bill (De Bortoli) . Aim to produce wines punching above thier weight with as little added as possible except for good honest grapes.

"We will continue to be adventurous, to keep evolving and most of all have a bit of fun. SOS; not trying to change the world, just a couple of souls, one glass at a time.!"

Sagrantino from the Murray Darling, Victoria. This wine is fun…spicy nose of anise and dark berries. The palate has dark plums and cherries with a juicy centre. A back palate of crushed cherries linger.

A big tanninc beast of a wine, Sagrantino is one of the thickest skinned varieties around. More commonly know in Italy's Umbria region also does very well in cooler regions of Australia.

Try this with Mexican beef for a killer pairing.
