A young winemaker from Hawke’s Bay, Anthony Mackenzie spent two years in Spain experiencing the wine, food and culture. The locals affectionately gave him the nickname Toño.

When the family moved back to Hawkes Bay after many year in Marlborough they were delighted by the changes in the local food culture, gourmet produce, restaurants and amazing stores and markets.  It struck them that Hawke’s Bay really is the Spain of New Zealand!

Tono wines were born.

Vibrant black fruits on the nose with a supporting nuance of aromatic oak. The palate is full bodied and rich with soft tannins and a long finish. Enjoy at room temperature.

Salute!
