91 Points - Sam Kim - Wine Orbit
"Elegant and stylish, this beautifully composed wine shows lifted aromas of Gala apple, lemon peel, green rockmelon and oatmeal on the nose. It is equally gorgeous on the palate with excellent weight and intensity backed by vibrant acidity, finishing wonderfully long and attractive."

Roger Voss - Wine Enthusiast
"A simple, crisp apéritif style of wine, with flavors of green apples, plums and a touch of pine nuts. An all white blend this is a dry, and fresh style"

A Burgundian made Blanc De Blanc Methode. This is exceptional value.

Maison Veuve Ambal was founded in the heart of Burgundy in 1898, by Veuve Marie Ambal, widow of a Parisian banker.  Marie returned to Rully to join her brother, wine lover and wine broker, at the time method traditionelle was being introduced for sparkling wines.  The wines immediately gained recognition and her grandson Charles Roux Ambal, followed by his grandson and current President Eric Piffaut, have continued to build on Marie’s philosophy of quality, and the combination of tradition and modernity which is the signature of Veuve Ambal.  With over 250 hectares of vineyards across Burgundy, mainly planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Sustainable organic practices are a priority in viticulture and winemaking which is reflected in quality of wines. Veuve Ambal remain leaders in the production of Cremant de Bourgogne today.
Pale yellow in colour this Blanc de Blancs has a remarkably fine and full mousse. The fruity bouquet shows peach and apricot notes. Leading to a palate that is creamy and soft. The finish is clean and zesty.

Great value and superbly well made French Fizz!
