Starting with their own meticulously grown vineyards in the Murray Darling, Chief Winemaker Jonathan Creek focuses on creating fresh, luscious wines with structure and crisp acidity.
Brilliant color, balance, and tensile strength result from Zilzie’s ability to carefully select fruit from the diversity of terroirs and micro-climates that Victoria has to offer. These wines allow the fruit’s natural elegance to shine through.

"The fruit is the hero that shines through in this fabulously drinkable, crowd pleasing range of amazing quality wines. Specially selected parcels of Pinot Noir from our own vineyard and some from long term growing partners across Central Victoria were cold soaked for 2 days to extract the desired flavors and aromas whilst minimizing harsh tannins. Fermented on skins
for 5-7 days, the wine was gently pressed and just a small portion was aged on medium toast French oak for a plush round wine with a subtle hint of oak. A lilttle Merlot was added to the final blend enhancing the Pinot’s bright cherry flavors and lengthening the tannins. Striking aromas and flavors with just 1/4 of the oak compared to our other
reds. Bright, fresh and ruby red in color this highly drinkable wine is crafted for enjoyment upon release."
