The new vintage release is one of our Top 10 sellers over the last 12 months. This is an absolute personal favourite, a sensational Nelson Sauvignon Blanc that rivals Marlborough for taste and quality and what a price!
"Here's a great little bargain-"little" referring to the price only since this is a flavour-packed, tropical fruit tasting sauvignon blanc. It's lively and fresh and great drinking now. Savvy lovers should snap it up half a dozen or more at this hot price" Joelle Thomson
Four Stars "wonderfully full-bodied, voluptuous" Joelle Thomson
A budget Hawkes Bay chardonnay that punches well above its weight. When it comes to $10.99 chardonnay, most do not deliver. This wine will appeal to the most demanding chardonnay lover. Unoaked!
Chardonnay from Otago! Apple, peaches and nectarines come to mind. Flinty overtones, fresh, with a long after taste. No barrels were used and as a result the wine is lively and seemingly straight forward. Yet, there is a real depth. This is a truly special and intresting wine.
"This is a lively, youthfull and spicy Gisborne chardonnay, with loads of body, taste and length. It is outstanding value for money" - Joelle Thomson
Emergo wines are a quest for perfection. Take the best fruit from some of the best terroir in New Zealand and match them with New Zealand's best winemakers and you get Emergo.
Four Stars - Warren Barton
Made at Gibbston Valley Winery exclusively for Winesale.co.nz. This is a superb Central Otago Pinot Gris and shows clearly why this region is developing a world class reputation for Pinot Gris. Grab some while you can!
The new 2010 vintage is now available and as always from this vineyard the wine is excellent. This is a superb Nelson Chardonnay and is fantastic value for money!
The 2010 vintage is a departure in style over prior vintages; the wine has been tank fermented with extensive use of lees stirring to give a freshness and minerality that reflects much of the character of the french heritage of it's makers. A drier style that will match good NZ fresh seafood dishes.
The Italian Pinot Gris is quite different to the wines from New Zealand. The wines are light and fresh and are perfect for sunny days outdoors. This wine is just right for such occasions.
Three 1/2 Stars "loaded with stonefruit, citrus, more florals and the unmistakeable taste of orange zest." Warren Barton
Three 1/2 Stars - Joelle Thomson
A wine that is 100% certified organic for the very affordable price of just $11.99. A grape variety that New Zealand is generally unfamilar with but do not let that deter you from trying this superb wine.
