A bright and juicy Merlot with an attractively ripe plummy nose. A rounded spicy palate with generous plum and spices fruit flavours leading to a fresh finish. Merlot grapes are sourced from long standing vineyards on the Swartland/Wellington borders and also the Breede River Valley. Low rainfall, warm weather, mainly decomposed granite soils and low trellised vines all adds really interesting complexity to the final wine. Malolactic fermentation follows before the wine is left on its lees to extract extra depth and soft tannins. Chateau Tanunda (Barossa) 2019 Terroirs Greenock Shiraz

96 POINTS- Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
A tremendously styled shiraz; the bouquet shows dark fruit richness with vanilla, cedar and cake spice characters, followed by a concentrated palate that’s expansive and mouthfilling. It’s splendidly enhanced by silky texture and grainy tannins, offering firm structure and terrific length. At its best: now to 2038.
92 POINTS - Huon Hooke, The Real Review
Deep dark purple/red colour, with a more herbal aromatic note, peppercorns, coconut and green walnut naunces, too. The palate is bold and full-bodied...Age will no doubt bring more to it. Drink 2022 - 2035

An expression of invidivuals regions within the greater Barossa area. Greenock sits on the north western outskirts of Nuriootpa, in the heart of the Barossa Valley.
The dark, brooding regional characters of plum, red cherry and liquorice are all to the fore of this wine. The palate is focused and linear, with dark bitter chocolate notes and an elegant long persistent finish. We recommend cellaring for 10 years.

Gibbston Valley (Central Otago) 2021 GV Pinot Noir

90 Points -  Robert Parker

"Glenlee is a Pinot Noir that comes from a vineyard of one man’s dreams. Californian visionary Gary Andrus has passed on, but his belief in close planting Burgundian principles results in a vineyard legacy: low crops of intense fruit – and sore knees for anyone who works there! Gibbston Valley (Central Otago) 2022 School House Pinot Noir

95 Points - Stephen Wong, Wine Sentience
95 points - Cameron Douglas MS

Winery description
"All clones were separated into multiple small batch fermentations. With the cool vintage and very low berry count, no whole clusters were included. The fruit’s natural intensity allowed a very gentle cap management to be employed. Following indigeneous fermentation, the wine was pressed to barrel (20% new), where it remained for 10 months before bottling. Typically alluring nose, darker violets and crushed red petal. The palate begins with a demurely lush textural expansion, before snapping through a svelte mid, and strikingly mineral finish. The 2020 School House Pinot Noir will cellar comfortably for 5-10 years."
