Boatshed Bay Rosé has a pale blush pink appearance. On the nose there are aromas of strawberries and melon with touch of floral. The palate has lifted strawberry and melon notes that hang off a creamy mid palate, giving the wine generosity and fullness. Elegant and refreshing, our Rosé is perfect for summer afternoons alongside fresh seafood, cheeseboards, and creamy desserts.

Cathedral Cove (Hawke's Bay) 2023 Chardonnay

Winery description
"This wine is from Chardonnay grapes grown in our Kinross and Riverview vineyards in Hawkes Bay. The grapes for this wine were harvested and transported to our Riverview winery. The fruit was pressed into stainless steel tanks. A combination of tank and barrel ferments using a range of yeast strains including PDM, VL1 and Maurivin “Fusion”. Following fermentation the wine was inoculated for malolactic fermentation. The wine was then transferred to our Katikati winery for finishing and bottling.

Aromas of citrus, toffee apple and rock melon. Subtle oak adds a cashew complexity. This wine is freshly textured with great length and a mineral complexity."

Cathedral Cove (Hawkes Bay) 2023 Pinot Gris

Named after one of New Zealand’s most picturesque beach settings where the naturally formed archways emulate the interior of a Cathedral, this range of wine comes from an area just as tranquil. The grapes are selected from the eastern side of the north island where the peaceful and quiet atmosphere makes up one of New Zealand’s most respected wine growing regions.

Easy-drinking style, full-bodied, with a balanced sweetness and decent depth of peachy, slightly honeyed flavours.

Winery description

Complex, ripe and intriguing. Layers of black pepper, lavender and vanilla give this wine a memorable aroma. The palate has lovely fruit weight, fine tannins with vanilla bean and raspberry carrying through a long finish.

Great value drinking. A wine to share for all occasions.

De Bortoli Family Selection (Sth Eas Aus) 2024 Shiraz

Medium bodied dry red. Deep red in the glass with rich flavours of blue berry and blackberry, complimented by subtle notes of chocolate and spice. Generous with a smooth finish.

The fruit is harvested when there is a balance of fruit freshness with juicy berry/plum flavours, ripe tannins and structure. Crushed then fermented on skins for 7 days at 23-27ºC with American oak.

A wine to that can be enjoyed with your favourite parmigiana, pasta with ragu sauce or savour a glass at your next bbq with friends and family.

De Bortoli Family Selection (Sth Eas Aus) 2025 Chardonnay

Pale straw with a lime green rim in colour. Bright, ripe peach and melon flow across a fresh, modest palate. Prudent oak usage allows the fruit to shine while piquing interest with a sublime caramel cashew oak finish.

The wine is fermented cool over a two-week period. Selected parcels were fermented on house select French Oak. Once the ferment is complete, the wine is rested and matured for 5 months on fine yeast lees to build palate weight.

Match with grilled whole halibut with lemon and caper sauce.

A bright and lively Merlot with crimson hues. Notes of plum and red cherry. A round and fleshy palate with lovely structure providing length and roundness.

A dry winter followed by a warm spring and summer enabled vines to produce a healthy crop of fruit. A dry harvest period ensured no disease and optimum ripening conditions.The harvesting of fruit is timed to achieve a balance between the freshness of fruit and the ripeness of tannins. Fermented on skins for 7-10 days at 23-27°C.

Ready to drink now or cellar for up to 3 years. Try with any barebecued red meat.

Fruit for this wine was selected from mature vineyards in the North Island that consistently produce outstanding Pinot Gris grapes. 

This is a wonderfully luscious wine with aromas of pear and spice on the nose and a tropical richness on the palate which is well balanced and off-dry. Enjoy in its youth or cellar for 2-3 years.

The Sandpiper Shiraz is sourced from several Thorn-Clarke owned vineyards. This wine is produced in a 'fruit forward' style with 12 months in American oak; the wine is ready to be enjoyed now and will comfortably cellar up to 5 years. Typical of Barossa Shiraz this wine is rich in flavour, and displays dark fruits, plums and spice with some good oak character. A wine which is full bodied in style with a plush mouthfeel and great length of flavour.
