We are really fussy when it comes to unoaked Chardonnay, that means we really like this one. Not only is it a superb wine, it is a super hot price as well.

This is the big big brother of our top selling Mt. Hector Hawkes Bay Chardonnay. Ideally, cellaring this wine for another 2-3 years would reward those of us with patience but if you really cannot wait you will still be very, very impressed. This is a 100% barrel fermented wine using wild naturally occuring yeasts. Chardonnay lovers should not hesitate, this is a real doozy!

This 100% Chardonnay is rich and seductive and offers exciting essences of peaches and cream. A tropical palate of paw paw, pineapple and passionfruit are complemented by subtle influences of French oak, thus creating a memorable wine of distinction.

This superb wine displays fresh melon and peach aromas, with added complexity from the combination of oak, lees age and malolactic fermentation. The palate is rich and full bodied wine, with elegance and vibrancy. The soft texture supports the ripe stonefruit and spicy oak that linger on the long finish.
