Distilled at one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, this new Glenturret is a marriage of three different cask types used to mature their whisky, producing a single malt of great balance and softness. Soft and vanilla'd to start, it has a fruity aroma reminscent of orange peel and sweet pear candies (pear drops). The palate is rounded and gently spiced, with notes of cinnamon, marzipan and a touch of coconut. A very approachable dram.
