Pale pink with red and mauve highlights. The fruity aromas combine with each other and lose themselves among the floral nuances. A subtle mixture of strawberry jam and garden roses, combined with creamy notes from the fine lees. Full, fruity and powerful on the palate, with a good acid base that provides freshness to the pleasant notes of confectionery and lengthens the perception. Finish where red berries and spicy notes (sandalwood) offer a clean, gourmand touch.

A fruit packed Zinfandel whose soulful routine never disappoints. The grapes are selected from old vine Zinfandel vineyards in the Lodi region of central California. Vinified in stainless steel tanks and sees a just a little oak ageing. Aromas of vanilla, cracked black pepper and dark damson fruit. On the palate this wine is round and fleshy, beautifully balanced and packed full with robust red fruit flavours and a lick of oak.

Great with a juicy home made burger or a spicy sausage casserole.

Ca’di Ponti (Sicily Italy) DOC 2022 Nero d’Avola

A deeply coloured, full-flavoured red with aromas of wild plum and black cherry. The palate combines abundant brambly fruit flavours with lightly spicy and savoury notes, a hint of bitter chocolate and chewy, ripe tannins.

The vineyards of the Côtes de Thau surround the lagoons of the Bassin de Thau and benefit from a Mediterranean climate combined with gentle sea breezes, giving wines with great freshness and concentration.

Refreshing and fragrant with dark berry fruit on the nose. The palate offers a juicy blackcurrant crunch.

Match with roast beef, leg of lamb or mimolette cheese are perfect matches for this young and delicious Cabernet. For vegetarian option, Portobello Mushroom will pair very well.

Michel Torino (Argentina) 2024 Cabernet Sauvignon

Each of the Coleccion range is sourced from entirely estate owned vineyards throughout the Cafayate Valley. Representing presenting true character of the varietal. The wines are produced in a young, juicy style with minimal oak influence. The Cabernet has blackberry, pepper and paprika aromas, with nut and toasted notes. Pepper, raspberry and blackcurrant flavors, with vanilla and tobacco notes on the long finish.

Tasting Note - Fresh ripe pear, slightly floral with white peach and green apple aromas. The palate is fresh and textured with a gentle sweetness, soft acidity and clean pear flavours. Alc: 13.5% 

Winemaking - The grapes for this wine were sourced from three of our Hawke’s Bay vineyards – Riverview, Kinross and Campbell’s Brook. The grapes were transported to our Riverview winery where they were pressed to stainless steel tanks and fermented using a range of yeasts. The resulting wines were transported by road tanker to our Katikati winery for blending, finishing and bottling.
