15 year old single malt from the Tomatin distillery, which have been treated to a generous five-year-long finishing period in casks that previously held Portuguese Moscatel wine. Not a particularly common type of cask for whisky maturation, but one that imparts hefty notes of dried fruit and toasted nuts
Granola with chocolate chunks, honey, waxy peels, Brazil nut, caramel, mango.
Vanilla, walnut, fresh orange, raisin and melted butter.
Cinnamon and clove give it a spicy kick on the finish, mellowed out by continued sultana and dried apricot.
