"Initial notes of scorched bramble, thyme and sage dissipate with aeration to reveal pristine blackberry and raspberry. A blend of Grenache (45%), Mourvèdre (45%) and Syrah (10%), it's a full-bodied, voluminous wine packed with ripe, luscious black fruit flavors. Crisp acidity and ripe, persistent tannins lend elegant structure. At peak now–2030"

45% Grenache and 10% Syrah and 45% Mouvedre grapes, aged in large oak foudres. This Châteauneuf is ripe, spicy and structured, with wonderful savoury flavours.

One of the oldest estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Although it is named after the Marques de Fortia d'Urban, who owned the property in the 18th Century, it was most famously owned by the Le Roy family, who took control in the early 20th Century. The 36-hectare Chateau Fortia Vineyard has dedicated 32 hectares to growing vines. Located in1 La Fortiasse, towards the southern part of Rhone Valley, this vineyard is a perfect example of a balanced ecosystem as well. Grenache Noir, Syrah and Mourvedre are the famous reds grown in this vineyard. You can also see parcels of whites that include Roussanne, Clairette and Grenache Blanc.

A distinguished wine offering intense and seductive aromas of ripe red berried fruits enhanced by smoky notes and subtle spice. Full and rich on the palate with an opulent texture carrying flavours of wild strawberry, pepper and fresh liquorice through to a long finish. This is full of elegance and finesse.
