Lawson's Dry Hills (Marlborough) 2020 Pinot Noir

4 Stars - Cuisine Magazine
Produced from our own Waihopai Valley vineyard and the adjacent Barnsley vineyard, these two sites grow beautiful parcels of fruit that produce expressive wines with depth and finesse. This Pinot Noir is richly aromatic, showing ripe red berry and cherry characters, complemented by sweet, spicy oak notes. The palate is opulent with soft ripe tannins and great concentration that together produce a powerful, elegant wine.

Lawson's Dry Hills (Marlborough) 2022 Gewurztraminer

Winery note

"Very pale straw in colour while the aromas offer the classic, lifted potpourri florals with lychee and roses with a pronounced thread of fresh lemon. The palate is soft, round and luscious but with wonderful weight and depth. Turkish delight flavours add to the wine's complexity and give way to ripe tropical fruits on the mid-palate while the finish has a pithy lemon character. Long, concentrated and highly memorable."

Lawson's Dry Hills (Marlborough) 2023 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

Silver Medal - The National Wine Awards of Aotearoa New Zealand 2022
4 Stars - Cuisine Tasting #215
95 Points - Cameron Douglas MS camdouglasms.com

Winery note
"This wine’s aromatics cover just about every character we see in great Marlborough sauvignon: passionfruit, ripe herbal notes, lime, lifted florals, melon and more. Packed with concentrated flavours, the wine is well-balanced, bright and fresh with a fleshy, textural mid-palate and chalky, lingering finish. The grapes for this wine came from our Waihopai vineyard, the Woodward block in the Wairau Valley (just a few hundred metres from the winery) and our Blind River vineyard in the Awatere."
