The Hawthorn Edition was a collaboration with Wellington institute, Hawthorne bar. It was off the market for a while but now back on the scene due to popular demand.

Roku (Japan) Gin 43% 700ml

The first gin released by Suntory, the name "Roku" is Japanese for "Six" which refers to the six Japanese botanicals used. Sakura flower (cherry blossoms), sakura leaf (cherry leaf), sencha tea (green tea), Gyokuro tea (refined green tea), sanshō pepper, and yuzu are utilized along with eight other traditional gin botanicals. The gin is distilled using a selection of different pot stills. The label is printed with Japanese washi paper.

Santisima (Trinidad) 15 Yr Rum 700ml

This rum is made in Cuba. It is characterized by a very specific aging that takes place in 3 stages. First, a first aging of 4 years takes place. The eaux-de-vie are then assembled a first time to be aged together for varying periods of 3, 7, 15 or 25 years, thus obtaining the bases that will compose the final assembly. Finally, these rums are meticulously assembled between them and are put to rest, the time they can agree, melt with each other to get this delicious rum out of age.

Santisima (Trinidad) 7 Yr Rum 700ml

Santisima Trinidad 7-year-old Rum is bright amber in colour with slightly sweet aromas of raisins, dried grapes and oak. On the palate, there is slight but perceptible sweetness, combined with hints of vanilla and dried sweet almonds.

Scapegrace (NZ) Black Gin 41.6% 700ml

A particularly intriguing expression from New Zealand's Scapegrape - a black gin! It gets its dark hue from its botanicals, which include aronia berry, butterfly pea, saffron, pineapple and sweet potato, among others. What's more, the spirit changes colour when mixed with tonic water, becoming a various shades of pink and blue.

Each autumn our sloe berries (a hedgerow fruit in the plum family) are picked and left to rest with our London Dry Gin. Year-on-year the harvests vary due to the ever changing, unpredictable weather. Much like a good wine, every vintage that we produce has its own wonderfully unique character.
