A deep red-violet colored wine that offers fruity aromas, like cherries and plums. This Malbec is round on the mouth, seducing with subtle notes of vanilla and truffle.

Selected vineyards in the high área of the Mendoza River and in the east region of Mendoza. Subtle contact with oak. Trapiche has over 1,000 hectares under vine, they are a force to be reckoned with.

100% Tempranillo. The grapes are picked up by hand and put in small baskets by selecting them from the same vineyards. Aged 6 months in French and American oak barriques in a 16th century underground cellar, at a constant temperature of 12ºC.

Dark red color, cherry rim. Toasted aromas, spicy, and slightly creamy oak. Rich and tasty in the mouth, fruity and well balanced.

Serve with: White and red meat, cheese and pâtés.

"Deep purple in colour, with bright clarity. Lifted red and dark cherry, black currant, with a savoury twist of thyme, aniseed, dark chocolate, and subtle oak derived notes. Prominent cherry and plum flavours with a mineral crunchiness and energy. The palate has fine, silky tannins with crisp acidity, creating a long, elegant finish. Particularly suited to game meat dishes such as venison and duck, but also a wonderful accompaniment to other red meat dishes.
