Fragrant white nectarine notes with hints of butterscotch and vanillin oak. Mouth-watering stone fruits are skillfully balanced with mellow sweet oak, creating length in the finish

Kopu (Gisborne) 2022 Pinot Gris

Grapes for this wine were grown in the Ngatapa Valley region of  Gisborne district where dry-farming practices have been employed for over 75 years.

Post-harvest the grapes and juice were processed with care to maximise fruit flavour and intensity. The resulting wine has lovely floral aromatics on the nose, while the palate is showing peach, fresh pear, apple blossom and subtle spice.

Ideal food pairings include fresh salad and vegetable dishes, white meats and Asian cuisine.

"Classic Riesling
– lemon, lime, apple, honey, white peach and spring flowers. Time in the bottle age has given subtle, toasty aromas while the palate is bright, crisp and elegant with just a touch of sweetness to provide balance. Vineyards and viticulture This is a single vineyard wine produced from a single pick from our Waihopai block in Marlborough’s Southern Valleys. The decision to harvest is made when the fresher green apple flavours balance with citrus and the riper stonefruit characters. Once picked in the cool of the early morning, the grapes are gently pressed with only the free-run juice being fermented to make this wine. "

"Pear, red apple and attractive floral aromas are matched with lemon curd and hints of spice. The palate is just off dry and medium bodied with lovely flavours of orchard fruits coated in a supple texture and with a fresh, uplifting finish. Vineyards and viticulture This wine was made from two blocks in our Southern Valleys vineyards and a third block on the edge of Blenheim township. To have great flavour in our Pinot Gris, we undertake intensive management in the vineyards, including bunch thinning, leaf plucking and colour thinning. We then leave harvesting as late as possible, to encourage flavour development, while still preserving the sugar/acid balance.Food Match Spicy foods such as Thai curries coconut based dishes, salmon, pâté, creamy pasta, roast pork or ideal just as a glass of wine on its own"

"Fragrant, floral, spicy and seductive scents with aromas of baked apple and white peach, dried herb and white pepper corn. Silky texture touches the palate first followed by flavours of white fleshed orchard fruits, some tropical notes and dried herb qualities. A youthful freshness with a lively acid line and bright fleshy texture. Balanced and well made with a lengthy finish. Delicious and ready from day of purchase and through 2026+."

Main Divide (Waipara) 2024 Gewurztraminer

Winery description

"Picking occurred in mid-April. After arrival at the winery, the grapes were crushed and then left in contact with their skins for a short time to macerate. Following pressing, the juice was transferred into old oak puncheons, where it was left to ferment naturally. The wine was then matured for approximately 3 months in these barrels prior to bottling. A delightful patchwork of sweet and savoury aromas titillate the nose, lychee, mango and Turkish delight at first, segueing into notes of cinnamon, cloves, potpourri, and a lick of ginger. The palate is opulent and plush, with a textured mouthfeel backed by refreshing acidity and subtle sweetness. Pre-ferment skin contact has added some additional structure together with ripe phenolics, balancing the wine and complementing its off-dry, spicy finish."

Grapes for this wine were sourced from the Tietjens vineyard in the Hexton Hills or Golden Slope region in Gisborne. This vineyard was selected for a rich history in producing premium Chardonnay.

Aromas of ripe melon and peach abound with butterscotch and fig notes. The palate is rich, with ripe fruits, showcasing peach flavours and an inherent creaminess, and a lingering bright finish. A Gisborne favourite!

Mt Difficulty (Otago) 2021 Roaring Meg Chardonnay

"Roaring Meg Chardonnay 2019 supple with flavours of nectarine and citrus introducing the wine. A textured soft mid-palate draws you into the wine. White fleshed peach drives the finish alongside a hint of phenolic interest. Generous and giving."

Fruit was hand-picked at peak ripeness on the 3rd, 4th, 8th, 11th and 12th of April, from Bannockburn, Pisa and Bendigo. The fruit was handled in an oxidative fashion, destemmed and pressed to concrete egg. We fermented 70% of the juice in egg, with the balance in old barriques, all with full solids using indigenous yeasts. Whilst maturing no lees stirring was utilised. The wine went through a full malolactic fermentation in spring, after which the barriques were stirred for a period. The wine was racked and filtered before being bottled, unfined, in March.

This Pinot Noir Rosé exhibits a gorgeous watermelon complexion. Savoury raspberry competes with rhubarb compote and hints of rose petal. Bright raspberry notes introduce the wine, these then flow into a linear mid palate and a clean mineral finish.
