Located in the heart of the village of Margaux-Cantenac, Marquis de Terme worthly carries its rank of Grand Cru Classé. Located on a central plateau, its 40 hectares of gravel typical of Margaux are planted with noble grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot which make the international reputation of Médoc wines. The ancient origins of the estate date back to the XVth century, but it’s name was given by François de Péguilhan, Marquis de Terme, in 1762. 

"The Crown" is the second wine of the estate offering tremendous value from the Margaux region and a more approachable style
Blend: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot

Average age of the vines: 35 years.

Harvest: Manual harvest. 

Aging: From 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which is new wood. 

The 2015 vintage is "the best wine produced from the estate" says wineinsider.com Notably one of the regions most highly awarded.

A nice discreet nose, of fresh wild fruits, floral and fresh offering a nice presence in the glass. Fruit and balanced, a juicy and supple wine on red fruits.
