4 Stars - Yvonne Lorkin (2019 Vintage)
"If you thought, because it’s a rosé from the South Island, that it was bound to be made out of pinot noir, then you might need to saddle up and jump on a new horse because this is an ‘assemblage’ of different grapes that combined, make a crisp, rich, fruit-saturated style that has Spring and Summer tattooed all over it’s face. Juicy and rocka-rolla with flavour."

91/100 - Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review (2019 Vintage)
"A "unique assemblage of varieties" has produced a dry, moderately full-flavoured and slightly spicy wine with appealing floral, rose, strawberry and raspberry characters. They’ve got the balance right. A refreshing rosé with a personality of its own."

91/100 - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit (2019 Vintage)
"Charming and delightfully expressed, the wine shows Gala apple, lemon peel, nectarine and floral characters with a hint of sweet strawberry. It is juicy and finely textured on the palate with lovely youthful flavours, finishing long and refreshing. At its best: now to 2021."

90/100 - Cameron Douglas MS (2019 Vintage)
"An assemblage of different varieties show off aromas of peach tea and red apple, red cherry and a light scent of rose. Crisp, fruity, ripe and tart fruits from cherry to apple and red melon envelope the palate. Refreshing, light, crisp and just dry on the finish. Classic Summer drinking all wrapped up in a single bottle. Lots to enjoy with this wine. Best drinking from today and through to Summer 2021."

Carefully selected grapes from an assemblage of complementary varieties including Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc were harvested to make this wine. The free run juice was given a small amount of skin contact to add some colour. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel vats at a cool temperature to retain varietal purity and freshness, with the wine being bottled shortly after. The wine is salmon pink, with fragrant aromas of strawberries, red currents & cranberry. On the palate it is dry and fi nely textured, with fresh and vibrant minerality. The influence of the Pinot Noir ensures the wine remains fleshy and supple, while the two Cabernets contribute to the aroma and structure.
