"One thing Dan Barker knows how to do is make darn nice chardonnay. Created from 100% Clone 95 fruit from 13 year old vines.  It shows smoked almonds and toasted brioche notes alongside grapefruit pith and creamy, buttery layers to finish.  If I was a slab of brie, I’d be very afraid."

"Bold and expressive bouquet with aromas of new wood, roasted yellow stone fruits, apple, nuts and vanilla. On the palate - firm, youthful, weighty, nice structure, fruity and dry on the finish. Flavours of citrus peel and peach, apple, vanilla and new wood. As the wine opens up flavours of yoghurt and cream begin to emerge and blend in with the vanilla, nut and citrus. Very fine wood tannins, medium+ acidity, decent length and intensity. Youthful still so no rush, best drinking from mid 2021 through 2025. Decant for service before then and serve with food (smoked chicken or turkey, pasta with pinenuts)"

Bold yet elegant, fully-concentrated aroma of citrus fruit with layers of pink grapefruit and sizzling butter, clean and textured showing lifted aromatics and freshness. Full-bodied, with a firm and concentrated core of citrus with brioche, butter and grapefruit is melded with layers of citrus and mouth wateringly attractive acid.
