4.5 Stars - Sam Kim Wine Orbit
"Upfront and inviting, the bouquet shows blackcurrant, sweet cherry, dried herb and toasted nut aromas, leading to a beautifully rounded palate offering juicy fruit flavours with fine texture and chalky tannins, finishing lingering and pleasingly dry. Sam Kim

17/20 Points - Candice Chow Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
"Deep, full, purple with a ruby-red core, lighter on edge. The nose is full and vibrant, with aromas of red berries, cassis, and blackberries melded with toasty oak spice. Full-bodied, aromas of strawberries, cassis and blackberries are enriched by a firm yet smooth tannin grip, followed by clove and nutmeg. The fruit is forward, supported by lively acidity; firm and grainy tannin provided a strong frame and mouthfeel. This approachable Cabernet Merlot blend shows the depth of fruit and compliments the tannin structure. Match with Wagyu burger and short ribs over the next 3-4 years. A blend of 62% Cabernet, 23% Merlot and 15% Malbec, aged in seasoned French oak barriques, underwent full MLF. 17/20 pts (85 pts) May 2022 RRP $20" Candice Chow

This is a classy Hawkes Bay Bordeaux blend which is we rarely come across at this price point. A blend of 62% Cabernet, 23% Merlot, 15% Malbec aged in French oak.
The wine shows aromas of cassis, black plum and a hint of coffee. A well structured palate rich and full of dark berried fruit, fine tannins and savoury dry finish.

The Sticks is top quality wine made by one of the most famous wine companies in Marlborough. A household name in New Zealand, this company exports wine around the world and has won dozens of international and local awards over the years.
