A well known name and history in the famed Margaux region. Blason d’Issan, is the second wine of Chateau D'Issan. Chateau d’Issan is one of the oldest wine-producing properties in Bordeaux. 

Fruit from the youngest vines is used to produce this wine, which respects the identity of its terroir, while offering a tasty round fruitiness, which can be enjoyed earlier. Blason d’Issan is also aged in barrels for 14 to 16 months, one third of which are new. Annual production is around 120,000 bottles.

2016 is a vintage with outstanding balance. The final blend being 40% Cabernet Sauvignon  60% Merlot. 

light nose of black fruit (blackberry) and oaky notes (autumn leaves). The wine is medium-bodied on the palate and offers crunchy, ripe tannins.
