South Eastern Australia

It may seem a little vague to label a wine as hailing from South-Eastern Australia, as it encompasses such a massive area both geographically and in wine terms. The label South-Eastern Australia denotes wines made from a blend of grapes from a combination of two or more of Australia’s three largest vine-growing areas; Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. In effect this ‘region’ incorporates 95% of Australia’s vineyards.

When it comes to blends Australia is at the top of the game. South-Eastern Australian wines tend to be extremely good value for money and incomparably consistent from vintage to vintage - these staples are hard to beat for everyday drinking.
